Favourite thing to do in my job: Looking down a microscope. I have used many types of microscope each of which allow me to look at bacterial cells in high definition! To think I can see something that small is mind-blowing!
My Work: I look at hospital superbugs and try to find out how we can kill them using a special type of honey!
My Typical Day: Go to work… drink coffee… SCIENCE… more coffee… MORE SCIENCE… Go home…
What I'd do with the prize money: I’d buy science equipment and tour round schools doing experiments that they might not have the funds for!
