      Hi Denzel
      Yes it does, in a lot of ways. To be a good footballer you need to be physically fit and healthy. Science helps here, by determining what training, how much and what kind the players should do to be as fit as they can be. Nutrition science is also important with this, making sure the players eat the right things.
      Science also helps design the equipment used, from high-tech boots that are lightweight, flexible and protective to shin pads and goalie gloves and even the ball itself.
      Also, bending it like Beckham (or Ronaldo) is all about physics!
      Cool right? Science is all around!!
