• Question: Like with Time-Lords (from Dr. Who) is regeneration possible? P.S. I know starfish can, but could humans???

      People are actually working on axolotls, which are very cute (in an ugly kind of way) amphibians that can regenerate parts of their body, trying to learn how it happens. The aim of a lot of this research is to try to convince human limbs (and maybe other bits too) to regenerate after injury, but we haven’t quite figured it out yet. On the other hand, our liver is pretty good at regenerating and can grow back if a big chunk is taken off it! Not quite like time-lord-style regeneration but pretty cool anyway.
