• Question: What is the circumference of the sun?

      Hi gingerfoundation!

      The circumference of the sun is about 4.4 million kilometres! (By comparison, the circumference of the earth is about 40.000 kilometres 🙂 )

      Hey ginger foundation!

      To add to the information… one interesting fact is that the sun is nearly the roundest object ever measured (so its circumference in all directions are almost the same). If scaled to the size of a beach ball, it would be so round that the difference between the widest and narrow diameters would be much less than the width of a human hair!!!!
