      Hi Nikhilo!

The “multiverse” is the idea that there are multiple “parallel” universes, not just the one that we live in.

This is an idea that you see in physics, but also in religion and in fiction. Depending on whom you ask, you will get a different idea of how much we can see of these other universes.

Unfortunately for future explorers, in physical theories, you generally cannot travel to a parallel universe… Some theories even say that you can never know whether they are “real” at all!

The main reason for the idea of the multiverse, is that our quantum theories are probabilistic: things happen just “by chance”. Some physicists think this is a preposterous idea 😉 So they simply say: “everything that could happen, does happen, except in another parallel universe”.

But of course, if you like fiction, go ahead and imagine your own parallel universe! Nothing in this universe can stop you 😉

      One food for thought…

If there are multiverses… Then there must be a universe where there is no multiverse! Dun… Dun… Duhhhhhhhh!!!!!

      Haha! 😀
