      Hi Jakeberry!

What you’re describing are the supercentenarians! These are people that live to be significantly older than 100 (I think the oldest is about 130 years old!). With advancements in modern medicine we are living for longer as we reduce infections etc… however cancers are becoming more prevalent in the ageing population (as are other diseases such as dementia etc…). I think there will become a point where modern science can only do so much. I think 150 might be this ceiling, although who knows! No one quite knows what might happen at super old age… will there be new diseases that we have not yet encountered?

Hope that helps answer your question! 🙂 Don’t forget to vote 🙂
