      Hi Bennyy!

I can’t imagine anything replacing electricity, especially if its only just as good – it will need to be much better 😉 But, what I would like, is something that doesn’t need cables! Cables cause such a mess, and are hard to clean… (The get into a tangle with the vacuum 😉 )

It’s possible that we will be able to use some form of radiation (like in a microwave) to transmit power. But it will take a long time before people will be convinced it is safe. You don’t want to turn your house into a big microwave 🙂

      Hi Bennyy!

Nothing will ever replace it I don’t think (at least not for a long long long time!). It would take a tremendous amount of effort to replace all the machines etc… to run on this alternative source of energy. The closest we have is fibre optics where we use that to send signals instead of electricity (think of sound systems!)…

Even if there is a better solution, sometimes it is never implemented as the cost is too great! Which is a shame! 🙁

Hope that helps answer your question 🙂 Don’t forget to vote!

P.s. I’m with Willem! Clear the clutter and go wireless some how!
