      Hey Ngmcc

A study last year suggested that women live longer because there immune systems ages more slowly! The immune system protects the body from infection and cancer, but causes disease when not properly regulated, and when it gets “older” it just isn’t as good! Some special cells actually increase as we get older to help fight disease (known as CD4-T cells and natural killer cells) and the increase is much bigger in females than males!

Of course it could be that due to periods, womens blood is replaced more regularly, leading to new cells begin created! Alternatively taller people don’t live as long and whilst most men are taller than women this may be a factor!

There are lots of different things! I think the biggest reason is because men do slightly more dangerous (and stupid) things! haha! I know I do!

Hope that helps! Don’t forget to vote 🙂
