• Question: what kind of thing are interested in about animals ?

      Hi Hannahhuet!

      I don’t really work with animals but I’m always interested int he fluffy ones! I’m a big fan of cats so if I ever see one in the street I will always give it a nice rub on its chin! Always cheers me up when I see animals! I think they are amazing!

      I have very wide-ranging interests, so it would take almost an essay to go through them all. At the moment, I have either completed or have research projects in different stages looking at the evolution of poisonous animals, warning signals, camouflage, life history (such as why do animals sometimes stop reproducing before they die, like in humans), how do islands effect the biology of animals, nutrition, care of captive animals (such as pets), parasites, convergent evolution (when something evolves separately in different animals, such as wings in insects, bats, and birds), and behaviour. So there’s a lot there at the moment but I have even more interests than this too!
