      Hi shadowfire,

No I don’t play world of warcraft – I never have been very good at games like that, although I do take out my nintendo sometimes to play mario kart!

Thanks for the question, maybe some of the other scientists play!

      Hi Shadowfire!

I do play World of Warcraft! I dabble between a pandaren fist weaver and a night elf druid-healer on the role playing realm of Argent Dawn!

One interesting fact of World of Warcraft… Check the corrupted blood incident here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corrupted_Blood_incident

It shows how diseases spread through the world and was looked at by scientists to see how we could understand disease transfer in the event of a global outbreak!

      Hope that helps! 🙂

I don’t play WoW as I find these 3D games with lots of different buttons and techniques very confusing! I prefer the old style platform games – I was a big fan of the Sonic games when I was a kid (on a console they don’t make anymore, a Sega Mega Drive) and other games like that. I do still occasionally play on the Wii but I’m not very good at those kind of games

I used to play a lot of computer games, but I don’t have time for it anymore – I prefer to do science! One of the last games I played was Warcraft 3… So I must have stopped playing a while ago 😉
