• Question: how much oxygen dose some one need to live ?

      Hi Salim!

      How much oxygen you need depends on a lot of things: how big you are, whether you’re doing exercise or sitting still, how warm it is – in short, it depends on how much energy you’re using!

      Energy use can differ a lot, at least between 1000 to 2500 kilo-calories per day. If I’ve done my sums correctly, this requires between 210 and 525 litres of pure oxygen per day! Seems quite a lot 🙂
