Question: what's it like working with cells from the cartilage of cows?

Working with cow cells is sometimes dirty and smelly but always fun! When it has been raining a lot the cows knees are often very muddy so it takes a long time to clean them. We use cow cartilage cells because they are similar to human cartilage cells, so they are very useful in helping us figure out how human cartilage works. I don’t think I would be allowed to cut cells out of humans!
